Terms of use
Plain terms for an app that asks almost nothing of you.

Using Ikhlaas
Ikhlaas is provided by IlmLabs for personal, non-commercial use. There is no account to create, so there is nothing to suspend and no credentials to keep safe.
Please do not decompile, resell or redistribute the app, and do not use it in any way that breaks the law where you are.
The religious content
The Qur’anic verses, hadith, duas and daily deeds in the app are drawn from published collections and are attributed to their sources in every case. They were reviewed against those sources before release, and narrations that could not be substantiated were removed.
That review was rigorous, but it was not conducted by a scholarly body, and we do not present it as a religious ruling. For anything consequential, ask a qualified scholar. If you believe something in the app is misattributed or wrongly graded, please write to us — we will check it and correct it.
Prayer times and the calendar
Prayer times are calculated on your device from your coordinates and the calculation method you choose. Hijri dates use the Umm al-Qura calendar.
Both are calculations. Your local moon-sighting or your masjid’s timetable may differ, and where they do, follow your local authority — particularly for Ramadan, the two Eids and Hajj. The app states this too.
Your data
Your data stays on your device. What that means in detail is set out in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We cannot promise it will be free of defects, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use — including a missed prayer time. Treat it as an aid, not an authority.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does. The current version always lives at this address, with its date above.
